Gronkowski reinjures arm

New England Patriots' star Tight End Rob Gronkowski has reijured his left forearm, most likely ending his day and perhaps his season.

Obviously, the Patriots' standard method of operation is to list a player as questionable to return to the game, regardless of the severity of the injury, so it may be a while before we have a status update on Gronkowski.

He injured the arm again while coming down with a pass along the sideline, trying to break his fall with the left arm that was splinted and heavily bandaged.

Gronkowski had already missed several games down the stretch, coming back briefly in the season finale against the Miami Dolphins, catching a touchdown pass but looking very tentative blocking.

After reinjuring his arm, Gronkowski sat on the bench for several minutes, gingerly moving his arm around before the training staff took him into the locker room for x-rays.

This story will be updated as updates become available.
