The Patriots may not be playing tag after all.
As we have discussed on this site previously, New England's big three free agents; Wes Welker, Sebatian Vollmer and Aqib Talib are probably going to find that the grass isn't greener on another team, just a different quality.
What they are up against is a glut of talent at their positions, particularly at offensive tackle where Vollmer may be looking for a big pay raise - which he will most likely get no matter where he goes, just not as big as it would be in just about any other year.
