On second thought...naw, I'll stick with the first one

Seems as though the fans of the Seattle Seahawks don't care for writers exploiting their would-be Pro Bowl Cornerback Richard Sherman.

What do they expect?

Chris Chase, USA TODAY Sports writes:

"You'll recognize Sherman's post-shove reaction as the one made by every guy who's ever been punched after provoking a barfight. He raised his hands in the air like an innocent passerby who has no idea why he'd be the subject of such violence.

"What is this?! My taunting words are going to have physical repercussions from the target of said words? I never could have imagined such a scenario!""

Though it doesn’t excuse Williams’ behavior, the notoriously talkative Sherman seemed to be saying plenty to the Redskins and their sideline during the game. And Sherman likely was talking a lot after the game ended.

For Sherman, it’s time to start getting under the skin of Falcons players. For Williams, it’s time to wait for word from the league office regarding whatever fine may be imposed on him.

In the 2011 season, Williams was made an offensive co-captain along with veteran teammate Santana Moss.[15] In Week 14, Williams and teammate Fred Davis were suspended for four games after repeatedly failing league drug tests

Dan Steinberg, Washington Post, quoting Darrell Young

out Richard Sherman as being especially noisy.
“That’s childish, man,” Young said. “Hey, you do what you do to win, whatever, I don’t care. But taunting the head coach and stuff? You never know when you’re gonna need to play for Shanahan. I mean, he’s a good player, but chill out a little bit, you know?
“He was just taunting [Shanahan] on the sidelines, doing stuff. I wanted to go out there and punch him myself, just because I respect Shanahan for everything he did. He was just taunting, like you’re not gonna throw the ball over here. Like, listen guy, you got lucky a couple times, you held Pierre, should have been a touchdown. Just stupid stuff….He’s a competitor — at the end of the day, that’s what he felt. He felt like we weren’t good enough, and we tried to go after him, and they just did a good job.”

Two big sports stories came down Thursday afternoon. First, Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman won his appeal for his failed drug test, which would've landed him a suspension. Sherman, as everyone does these days, took to Twitter and sent out two short, simple missives. The first was, "I won." The second was "Pats fans enjoy ur day." (You'll recall that Sherman tweeted this photo after the Seahawks beat the Patriots in October.) The other big story today was the Nets firing coach Avery Johnson. This did not sit well with Johnson's son, who let loose with a series of tweets.
