Grab your burmuda shorts, tank top and flip flops.
Then fold them and put them away and grab your layers, because even though New England is experiencing a January thaw, it's still winter. And it's still New England.
The National Weather Service is forecasting unseasonably mild conditions for the AFC Divisional Playoff game between the Houston Texans and the New England Patriots, with the gametime temperatures in the mid to high 40's and negligable wind.
In other words, absolutely perfect conditions for a football game.
One of the advantages of having home field in the playoffs is the often times nasty conditions that await Patriots' foes, and this unseasonable thaw negates that part of the advantage - though it's certain that the Patriots are still thankful for the pleasant conditions.
If you hear thunder, don't go diving under your seat - that's just Rob Gronkowski spiking a football. It's a good thing.
If the thunder sounds like it's off in the distance, that just means that Danny Woodhead scored instead.
The skies will be overcast, and the chance of rain stands at 20% - unless Aaron Hernandez scores a touchdown, then it's 100% chance that's it going to rain money...
...and there's not a Patriots fan alive that doesn't like that.
